This article basically discusses Iran's staunch refusal to kneel before the U.N. by abandoning it's nuclear fuel program and the world powers unwilling to do what's necessary to stop it. The author gives many opinions but doesn't support with much fact. He does list motives for some of the major players in the U.N. to allow Iran to continue its research but also makes it clear that he believes more action should be taken. This is probably one of the good instances of policing the globe and I think the U.N. should act to keep nuclear weapons from developing in any more countries. Iran definitely isn't hurting for energy but I think the government wants to be recognized as a world power free from the "Western Yoke" so to speak. I do mostly agree with the author though that allowing nuclear weapons in the most conflict ridden area of the world is probably not a good idea.
