CNN: Lindsay Lohan Poses Nude as Marilyn Monroe
This is mainly a gripe about CNN's wonderful news reporting. Masquerading as a serious news station, CNN disappoints by reporting on television several times today as well as printing articles on Lindsay Lohan's latest and greatest activities. The article on their website critiques her motives and complains about her bad career choice as well as what a bad person she is. In my opinion this is an example of a very poor article for a real news business. Perhaps if they had reported this as a bad influence on the youth of american girls or perhaps glorified it as a classy tribute to the liberal arts, then agree or not on their points, it would have been a genuine editorial. Instead, their complete lack of making any sort of point besides a blog style complaint about how CNN doesn't like her is simply nothing short of shocking. To be fair, CNN is not alone in this entertainment style "news", unfortunately FOX and CSNBC shared in very similar stories.

It's a complete waste of time for CNN to be covering this. Leave it to E! or a channel like that who covers news on the celebrities. Shouldn't CNN be covering the election? But I guess when you have nothing else to cover you have to fill the spots with something.
I totally agree that this is not the type of story that should broadcasted on CNN. This is not only an unimportant and unserious but is a complete waste of time to be covering.
I agree with you. I do not think that celebrity news should be casted on a serious news station when there are things much more important to talk about. With our country at war right now there is plenty of useful news other than Lindsay and Brittany Speers to be dicussed.
Amen! I am glad that someone said it. America has much more important issues than Lindsay Lohan posing nude. What suprises me though is how often stories like this make the headlines, and how widely they are read. You would think that more time would be spent covering the important stuff.
I think it is crazy how the United States are so worried about celebrity gossip instead of curing cancer, helping people in need or fixing our government.
