Private School Vouchers

The article I read in USA Today by Robert C. Enlow was actually in response and opposed to USA today's position on government vouchers to allow deserving students to attend private schools. USA Today cited many examples where the programs haven't worked and gave two alternatives to the voucher system: expanding charter schools and encouraging interdistrict transfers for public school students who qualify. The author battled these statements by giving examples where the program has worked and set the alternatives at the same level. He stated," Our children are in trouble... vouchers win and they work." He established the voucher system as one solution out of many which shouldn't be discarded in place of a search for one end all solution. He clearly stated his evidence and purpose and breathed life into an option many have written off. Whatever options we can make available so deserving students can be offered the best education possible should be supported.

I like how the author cited examples. That really helps the reader understand and actually listen to what the author is trying to say. It's a very good way to get information across.

Citation is a good way to present your information. It makes the readers think you at least did some research for your article and didnt just pull it out of your hat. This looks like it might be a pretty interesting topic as well.
