Well, this article is about as revelant as Britney Spears' stay in a mental institution. While I am aware of the struggles that women have gone through since the dawn of time, I found this article somewhat of a mockery. Ms. Warner was having breakfast with two of her male friends when she asked what kind of woman they would date if they could have anyone. They answered with with with an unsuprising, "a babe." She was deeply offended that they would want that instead of a mature older woman with experience. I do not see why she was suprised of the answer; it seems a bit of common sense. She goes on to list examples of how older men would choose a young attractive woman rather than someone in their own age group. In my opinion, this piece was suited more to a conversation with girlfriends. I feel that she should have touched more meaningful topics such as the real struggles of women in Africa.

I think you make a good point. Guys will always go for the young, hot girls, no matter how old they are. Some of the best women are older and more experienced and it stinks that men don't always get that right away. I agree that this does not seem like a suitable topic for an article, but it still is true.
Ha, I think this article seems like it should be in some magazine rather than a paper. Everyone has different tastes and true, soem guys only want babes. It would have been more interesting to go into a psychology point of view or something other than just her pure irritated opinion.
What is the point of this article? It sounds like a woman is angry that she doesn't get picked in the dating game. What is the point of complaining? It's not going to change anything. It's an evolutionary trait. Cavemen went for the younger, healthier, bigger breasted, bigger hipped, and prettier women because they have better ability to raise children and better chance that the man's genes are passed on.
I think that the men who only want younger pretty women are shallow and stupid. The looks are going to eventually fade and they are going to get stuck with a stupid girl. It seems that guys do not have standards when they say they just want a babe. However, I think in most cases the guys will just say they want a hot girl to sound cool around their friends. On another note, this article seems stupid. I bet you wasted braim cells reading it.
